Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient imaging procedures including Breast ultrasound, Bone Density scans, Mammograms, and breast biopsy procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of mammography exams, including at least 200 completed exams within the last 24 months.
- Follow established protocols to maintain patient safety and image quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support diagnostic and screening services.
- Maintain all required certification and training records, including CEUs and technical training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or breast imaging.
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Certified in digital mammography and 3D/tomo imaging (at least 8 hours of documented training).
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to perform outpatient imaging procedures including mammograms, breast US, bone density, and biopsy procedures.
- Official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams in the past 24 months, signed by leadership.
- Valid state license if applicable.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Demonstrated experience with digital and 3D/tomo mammography techniques.
- Prior experience working in a busy outpatient imaging center.
- Strong attention to detail and patient care.
