Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs.
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to OR protocols and infection control standards.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Support patient postoperative recovery and communicate effectively with the team.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation of application process.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, specifically with endovascular (IR procedures), vascular, and amputations.
• Scrubbing experience in the operating room.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Familiarity with IR procedures and vascular cases.
• Willingness to float to assist other surgical teams and IR team as needed.
• Ability to work scheduled 10-hour shifts with flexibility for on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations.
