Therapist – Director of Rehab

Job Title

• Director of Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and leadership for the Occupational Therapy Department staff
• Supervise and coordinate education and competency assessments for occupational therapists, COTAs, and technicians
• Ensure departmental compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and professional standards
• Maintain and update Occupational Therapy policies and procedures, including scope of care, evaluation/treatment standards, discharge planning, and documentation
• Directly evaluate and treat patients, dedicating approximately 80% of time to clinical duties
• Assist with program development and various administrative tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current licensure in the State of California by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance
• Possess all additional qualifications recommended by the California Occupational Therapy Board and Rehabilitation Services Department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is a plus
