Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Telemedicine / Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs using standard nursing procedures.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV insertions, urinary catheter maintenance, and central line care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (Meditech).
• Collaborate effectively with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience within the last year.
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients simultaneously.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience.
• Background in orthopedics or neuro-surgery is a plus.
• Experience with Med/Surg/Telemetry units preferred.
