Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab/EP setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Document nursing processes accurately and comprehensively.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and management to resolve patient care issues and interpret hospital policies.
• Support hospital and department initiatives, including community service and quality activities.
• Prioritize patient safety and confidentiality, acting as a patient advocate, especially during critical or end-of-life decisions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to nursing practice.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting.
• Knowledge of cardiac procedures and interventions.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
