• Full-time, days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Assist with perioperative procedures, administer medications, and monitor patient status throughout the surgical process.
• Manage patient flow and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care to promote wellness and informed healthcare decisions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in healthcare assessment, triage, and prioritization of patient needs with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado or a compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in operating room or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume patient and provider communication competently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior OR nursing experience.
• Knowledge of perioperative safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
