Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients
- Monitor fetal and maternal wellbeing during labor
- Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient status and care activities accurately
- Follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active and clear Connecticut RN license (or compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- 12-hour night shifts availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech, Epic, or GE-Centricity electronic medical records systems
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
