• Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in PCU, IMC, and stepdown units, including telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Interpret dysrhythmias, manage cardiac drips, and support post-cardiac procedures.
• Assist with neurological, orthopedic, respiratory, and renal patient care, including ventilator management and dialysis support.
• Follow strict infection control and wound care protocols, including use of isolation precautions and wound vacs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective patient care and respond to rapid response calls.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri or eligible via compact license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in specialty (IMC/PCU/Stepdown or ICU) within past 12 months
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, and emergency response procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse and teaching hospital experience
• Expertise in telemetry, cardiac and neurological patient care, and use of rapid response teams
• Experience with IV medication protocols including Heparin and PCA
• Oncology monitoring experience and advanced wound care skills
