Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients on night shifts.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license at the time of submission (or Compact license accepted for starts from 01/01/2023).
• Minimum of 18 months of recent emergency department (ED) experience.
• 18 months of permanent ED experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand at time of submission.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Valid background check (BCI/FBI) completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Nicotine-free status (for non-nurse/caregiver roles) confirmed via drug screen within 12 months of start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with rapid assessment and emergency procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to work night shifts in a high-pressure environment.
