Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of surgical procedures within the OR environment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal workflow.
- Maintain sterile techniques and proper handling of surgical instruments.
- Support perioperative staff and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- May be expected to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs.
- Precept and mentor new team members as required.
Required Qualifications
- Current NBSTSA certification.
- BLS certification.
- Radiation badge provided by the employer.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology procedures.
- Prior experience working within a busy surgical environment.
