Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT scans and other nuclear medicine procedures in a teaching hospital setting.
  • Provide accurate imaging techniques utilizing Siemens equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols, including radiation badge management.
  • Collaborate with medical team to ensure quality patient care during imaging procedures.
  • Adhere to facility standards, including charting with Epic and maintaining scrub dress code.
  • Participate in occasional Saturday scans and emergency response activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid SC State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography.
  • Radiation badge provided by agency.
  • Certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R)(CT).
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
  • Ability to work day shifts with varying start times (6:30 am - 10 am).
  • Willing to accept first-time traveler assignments and flexible with open schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment.
  • Prior work in Level I or Level II trauma settings.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system.
