Full-time, nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs, including neurological and post-surgical cases
• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and interpretation of laboratory results
• Conduct dressing changes and set up sterile/aseptic procedures
• Collect specimens such as blood, urine, throat swabs, and handle phlebotomy procedures
• Manage telephone triage, medication refills, and patient communication
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year acute care rehab experience
• Current BLS certification
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• Pass/Fail EKG exam (candidate must be aware and prepared)
• Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), float to all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Education verified through third-party, background check with no open cases
• Current driver’s license with proof of local residency (must be outside a 50-mile radius)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient rehab experience for neurological and post-surgical conditions such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries
• Experience with medication reconciliation, patient history documentation, and laboratory specimen handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:6

• All candidates must successfully complete a compliance file and Pass/Fail EKG exam prior to start
• RTO requests are due at time of submission and cannot be accommodated afterward
• Modules will be completed during orientation and are non-billable
• No first-time travelers accepted, and candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Please ensure all prerequisites, including education verification and background checks, are completed on time to avoid delays
