Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

• Big Sky, Montana

Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, approximately 12 hours per shift, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and execute individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, recognize deteriorations, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols related to stroke and trauma care.
• Maintain professional development by completing required education and certifications annually.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Montana Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Certification in NIH Stroke Scale.
• PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification.
• Trauma Nursing Care Coordinator certification.
• Ability to practice modified primary nursing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course certification.
• At least 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience.
