Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized intensive care to critically ill patients in a dedicated CVICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret complex patient data, including EKGs, ABGs, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Manage ventilators, drips, sheaths, and dialysis equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure targeted patient ratios and optimal care.
• Float to other units as assigned, supporting different areas dependent on hospital needs.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience in a dedicated ICU setting.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or eligible for temporary licensure; compact licenses accepted.
• Ability to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to start.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; must be able to interpret strips.
• Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and ABGs.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Ability to float across multiple hospital campuses within a short distance.
