Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Lubbock, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center
• Float between units as needed, delivering patient care aligned with unit protocols
• Collaborate with medical team to assess, plan, and implement patient treatment
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain professional standards and support patient comfort and safety

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license (compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Ability to work rotating weekends (6 weekends per 6 weeks) and holidays
• Must be able to commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar emergency settings
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and multi-unit float capacity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
