Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, MS/Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown units
• Manage cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Nitroglycerine, and Milrinone
• Administer insulin drips and care for patients in respiratory distress (excluding ventilator care)
• Perform tasks including sheath pulls and other nursing duties specific to PCU settings
• Monitor and document patient progress using Epic electronic health records
• Float to different units as needed, adhering to appropriate protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Active nursing license in hand or a compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, MS/Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown
• Epic EMR system experience is mandatory
• Ability to work on call and float to different units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience
• NIH certification preferred
• Experience managing cardiac drips and respiratory distress patients
