• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, including cardiac telemetry, ER holding, MS/Tele, and respiratory care settings.
• Manage complex patient needs such as cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem/Diltiazem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Nitroglycerine, Milrinone) and insulin drips.
• Monitor patients in respiratory distress, excluding ventilator management.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:5 and utilize Epic electronic health records.
• Perform tasks such as sheath pulls and cardiac assessments, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Float to different units as needed and participate in on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of nursing experience, with previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Valid nursing license in hand or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH preferred.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry, ER holding, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC, or Stepdown units.
• Epic proficiency required.
• Ability to work nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers accepted.
• Experience with cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, etc. is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory distress management and insulin drips.

Travel Compliance & Additional Notes

• Travelers must be more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• References required; must schedule and complete labs within 2 weeks of signing.
• EPIC system is mandatory for all nursing shifts.
• No limit on the number of placements possible; must wait 2 years before re-traveling with the agency.
