Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule / Job Type
Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency room nursing care for a busy acute care hospital with 286 beds.
• Work collaboratively within a team, adhering to acuity-based patient ratios.
• Float within scope to meet department needs and cover like units or sister facilities.
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including Epic electronic charting.
• Participate in weekend rotations (every other weekend) and handle on-call duties as assigned.
• Ensure all required certifications and licenses are up to date and maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALs certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
• Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Ability to pass compliance and background checks, including providing SSN.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in CPR (CPI) and TNCC is a plus.
• Experience working during hurricane season or in emergency response teams is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work a non-block schedule; local candidates preferred within a 60-mile radius.
• Previous ER experience at a similar facility preferred.
