Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safety and well-being
• Monitor and document patient status using Meditech system, including ventilators and specialty beds
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including charge RNs, PCTs, and unit staff
• Adhere to unit-specific policies, including required certifications and dress code
• Assist in managing patient ratios (ICU: 2:1; Med/Surg/PCU: 4:1) and maintain quality care standards
• Participate in floating policies, with priority for contract labor floats

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience, especially in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or ICU
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Strong patient care skills specific to critical care and stepdown settings
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with ventilators, CRRT, and specialty beds
• Familiarity with ICU patient ratios and critical care procedures
• Ability to adapt to new equipment and technology in a fast-paced environment
