Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel position, 13-week assignment, days shift, 36 hours per week, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a high-volume ER setting.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility to meet departmental needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Follow all hospital protocols and standards, including adhering to dress code and safety policies.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact State (no temp licenses accepted).
• Associated degree in Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or Red Cross.
• NIH certifications including TNCC and SECURE.
• Willingness to float between units and work holidays or weekends as required.
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent ER experience working under a professional license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings.
