• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele)

• Full-time, Days shift (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient EKG rhythms, manage non-titrating cardiac drips, and perform neurological assessments.
• Administer advanced medication infusions, including insulin, Neosynephrine, and Nipride, within scope of practice.
• Conduct pre- and post-procedure evaluations and provide care for acutely ill patients.
• Utilize Epic charting system, documentation, and electronic medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care planning and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications
• Valid New State License (Missouri or Illinois, with Illinois being non-compact and requiring in-hand license at submission).
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute hospital RN experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Ability to identify EKG rhythms and manage cardiac monitor data.
• Knowledge of non-acute cardiac conditions and telemetry procedures.
• Must have valid SSN and DOB for credentialing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Experience with medical and surgical patients, including neurological and infectious disease cases.
• Ability to obtain CPI certification.
