Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, contract, 13-week assignments, onsite

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care for medical and post-surgical patients in a telemetry setting
• Monitor patients remotely using telemetry equipment and interpret heart rhythms
• Administer IV starts, cardiac drips, and other medications per protocol
• Document patient care accurately utilizing hospital systems such as EPIC and SBAR
• Follow unit-specific protocols including medication distribution via Pyxis and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings
• Valid NC or Compact state RN license in hand at start
• Experience with IV Start, non-titratable cardiac drips, and telemetry patient monitoring
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to similar units when needed
• Candidates must be available within 48 hours of signing for testing and lab requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Telemetry, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system and hospital medication and communication protocols
