Key Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab, ensuring proper preparation of equipment, supplies, and the lab environment.
• Document all patient information accurately and maintain strict sterile techniques throughout procedures.
• Assist with setup and operation of specialized cath lab equipment such as imaging devices, hemodynamic systems, and intravascular ultrasound.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technicians to ensure patient safety, departmental efficiency, and adherence to organizational policies.
• Serve as a preceptor and resource for junior staff, sharing expertise in advanced procedures and technology.
• Support departmental functions including patient transport and inventory management.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related healthcare field preferred.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA).
• PALS certification for working independently in pediatric settings.
• Certification as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT in relevant imaging or vascular specialties.
• At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic, interventional radiology, or cath lab.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, LVAD, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, or intra-aortic balloon pump.
• Knowledge of advanced cath lab technology and procedures.
