Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite | Weekends Required (4 weekend days per contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio on night shift
- Perform and assist with procedures including IV insertion, EKG, in-and-out Foley catheterization, lumbar puncture, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, EKG machines, and Teleneuro systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, HUCs, and PCTs/Paramedics to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Document accurately within an EMR Level 3 system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or ENPC certification
- Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE certification
- NRP certification
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality with a willingness to learn
