Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

• El Paso, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Nights, 12-hour shifts, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, perform procedures such as IV insertions, EKGs, lumbar punctures, and manage airway and ventilator equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Candidates who are STABLE and NRP certified are highly preferred.
• Experience with Level 3 EMR systems.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with energy and enthusiasm.
