Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Location

• Marshfield, WI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, float to other adult medical/surgical units

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit, including ortho trauma, vascular, urology, neuro-spine, oncology, and acute medical conditions
• Titrate medication drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Bivalirudin, Cardizem, and Insulin following prescribed protocols
• Monitor telemetry equipment; collaborate with telemetry techs and accurately interpret patient monitor strips (no need for RN to read strips)
• Administer treatments, perform wound dressing changes, and support patient recovery and comfort
• Document patient care, vital signs, and interventions thoroughly and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin
• 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification required
• Experience with titrating IV drips, particularly Heparin and other titratable medications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Ability to carry out patient care responsibilities during night shifts efficiently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
