Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a 23-bed neuro trauma progressive care unit.
• Monitor and operate bedside monitors, end-tidal CO2, high-flow oxygen, and chronic vents.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management and EEG monitoring.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and aides to maintain patient safety and care standards.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper scrubs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in a similar setting.
• Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire at time of submission.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with telemetry and step-down units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro and trauma experience.
• Familiarity with chest tubes and EEG procedures.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Additional certifications such as NHISS and TNCC are a plus.
