Job Title

• ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract, 3 shifts per week, Days (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret clinical changes to initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor critically ill adult patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, titratable infusions, and invasive lines as permitted by scope.
• Administer medications and blood products following policy, ensuring double checks for high-alert medications and infusions.
• Implement orders, care bundles, and safety protocols, documenting accurately in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and handoffs, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Provide patient and family education, support, and advocacy, including end-of-life care when applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (Ohio or compact license).
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Minimum ICU experience relevant to the specific unit or contract.
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification.
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, CRRT, or post-operative critical care.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems.
