Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ABGs and CBGs in intensive care units and the emergency department.
• Cover for EKG department overnight and during coverage needs.
• Assist with intubation and may place laryngeal airways during code blue situations.
• Support adult, pediatric, inpatient, and ED patient care, including trauma level 2 or 3 cases.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists providing critical care.
• Follow department protocols and adhere to safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State of Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license (may take 6-8 weeks to obtain).
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, including trauma level 2 or 3.
• Ability to assist with intubation and perform critical care procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in ICU and emergency settings.
• Willingness to work first-time traveler assignments or travel duos.
• Critical care experience with adult and pediatric patients.
