Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients in a busy acute care hospital environment.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the CVOR to ensure a sterile and safe operating setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately using Epic charting system.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as required during designated overnight hours.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience.
• BCLS certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; on-call coverage required.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including holidays.
• Current LA fire card within the last 30 days.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Records.
• Ability to float between multiple facilities within the state as needed.
