Registered Nurse PICU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

• Indianapolis, IN

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (4x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families and multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to shift requirements, including working 2 out of 3 major holidays when scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and in-hand Indiana RN license (permanent or temporary)
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a critical care or PICU setting
• Current certifications according to unit requirements (e.g., PALS, BLS)
• SSN and DOB required at time of submission
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays per policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous PICU or pediatric critical care experience
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to float within hospital and affiliate facilities as needed
