Registered Nurse Operating Room

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Days, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for various surgical specialties.
• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering multiple units including neuro, ortho, trauma, GYN, plastics, ENT, GU, colorectal, and others.
• Maintain current certifications and compliance with hospital standards.
• Work within a team environment to deliver quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid IN State RN license (must be in hand prior to start date).
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Level I trauma.
• BLS certification required.
• Current certifications relevant to perioperative nursing (e.g., circulating, scrub roles preferred).
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, with flexibility to float internally.
• Proven experience in circulating and scrubbing in a busy OR setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma Level I cases.
• Comfortable working across multiple specialties including neuro, ortho, plastics, GYN, ENT, and others.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Ability to adapt to floating within scope and multiple units.
