• Full-time, travel opportunity, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during surgical procedures.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care needs.
• Demonstrate independence and clinical competence while managing complex and routine cases.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification via AHA.
• ACLS certification via AHA.
• Minimum one year of experience in perioperative nursing or operating room setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a surgical or clinical setting.
• Ability to float between assignments and locations as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
