X-ray / Radiologic Technology Specialist

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts (4x9-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including PACS, portables, C-arm, contrast studies, and fluoro procedures.
  • Assist with emergency and trauma imaging in a Level II trauma center environment.
  • Respond to various hospital departments including ER, OR, NICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards for imaging and patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication within EPIC Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Support the hospital’s mission to provide rapid and accurate trauma diagnosis and treatment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of radiology or X-ray technology experience; 2+ years strongly preferred.
  • Valid license in diagnostic radiologic technology.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience with PACS, portables, C-arm, contrast imaging, and fluoro procedures.
  • EPIC EMR system experience is required.
  • Ability to pass an EKG exam and complete all compliance modules during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in trauma or emergency settings.
  • Prior exposure to orthopedic, endoscopy, or interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of multiple imaging modalities including interlad and contrast studies.
  • Flexibility to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed.

Additional Information

  • Travel compliance requires full documentation submitted by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to the start date.
  • Local candidates within 50 miles NOT accepted; current driver’s license must be provided for verification.
  • Must be prepared to work 4 nights per week, including weekends.
  • Vaccination and background checks are mandatory and must be verified prior to onboarding.
