Full-time, 13-week assignment, night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide, coordinate, and direct comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory treatments and interventions.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety standards within the scope of practice.
• Function with minimal supervision following orientation and training.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed.
• Ability to lift 5 pounds overhead and pull 50 pounds from stretcher to bed.
• Ability to push a 150-pound stretcher for 300 feet.
• Good auditory and visual acuity for procedure performance and patient observation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• At least one year of current acute care experience, or recent graduate with appropriate training.
• Strong OB experience preferred.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
