- Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location
- Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Perform IV starts and manage labor and postpartum assessments.
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system effectively.
- Float to other units as needed, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Current valid Compact or Ohio state nursing license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NR-P.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Skilled in IV starts and managing L&D cases.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Previous experience with Ohio State University hospitals preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and float when necessary.
