Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to patients in the CSICU/CCU setting during night shifts.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing ECG rhythms and responding appropriately.
• Follow hospital protocols and ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare standards.
• Complete required assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate training during orientation.
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Maintain active and valid state licensure and certifications, including BLS and ACLS.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in ICU, specifically in CSICU or CCU.
• Active Ohio RN license or an active compact state license in hand.
• Valid AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores.
• Willingness to complete orientation (payable at 50% of base rate, approximately 32-40 hours).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening within specified time frames.
• Ability to provide at least one management or supervisory reference in the ICU specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ICU patients in a hospital setting, preferably in a tertiary care facility.
• Prior travel or temporary ICU nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical record systems and critical care protocols.
