Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 32-bed adult/older adult medical-surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:5
• Manage trauma patients, administer and monitor Heparin drips, and give all acute medications as ordered
• Maintain documentation of medications and patient status, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and rehabilitation tools
• Follow protocols for emergency situations, including trauma and medication management
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Documented experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Ability to work with EPIC EMR system and meet checklist requirements
• Must have experience with med/tele monitoring and acute patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior NICHE training or specialized geriatric care experience
• Experience managing trauma patients and complex medication regimens
• Familiarity with specialty equipment for geriatric and rehabilitative care
