Job Title

• Registered Nurse - ICU (MICU) - Nights

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and treat patients requiring complex care and advanced monitoring techniques.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, demonstrating professional competency.
• Flex to float between units and hospitals as needed, maintaining staffing coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH or Red Cross certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience; 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred.
• Ability to float to other units and hospitals, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (if working in pediatric units).
• Experience working in high-acuity ICU settings.
