Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for a 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in respiratory disorders.
• Float between different units and hospitals as needed, assisting in diagnosis and treatment of various pulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Follow hospital policies for shift coverage, including holidays and weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Alabama or applicable Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted).
• Associate degree in Nursing.
• BLS or Red Cross certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a relevant specialty or recent 18 months working at the highest level of licensure.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pulmonary or respiratory care.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to float across units.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system.
