Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 4 shifts per week, evening shifts (4x10 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care in a Level III trauma center, ensuring patient stability and safety during recovery.
• Float between preoperative, postoperative, and PACU units as needed.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations across units.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington or a Compact state.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification.
• Ability to function effectively in preoperative, postoperative, and PACU settings.
• Must be able to float within the hospital and adapt to different units.
• Must provide two recent references covering at least 6 months of work within the last 3 years.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care or trauma hospital setting.
• Prior PACU or perioperative nursing experience.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
