• Full-time, 4 days per week, day shifts, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and treatment for pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties, including pediatric feeding disorder, oral aversion, dysphagia, ARFID, failure to thrive, autism, developmental delays, sensory processing issues, and related diagnoses.
• Manage a full caseload of pediatric patients aged 8 months and older, evaluating and treating their feeding/eating challenges independently.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Document patient progress accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in orientation and training at the facility prior to start date.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program or Bachelor's degree if licensed prior to 2004.
• California OT license or eligibility to obtain it within 6-8 weeks of application (may practice under the 60-day rule with a license in another state).
• NBCOT certification.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 1.5 years of pediatric therapy experience, specifically in feeding/eating assessment and treatment.
• Ability to independently evaluate and manage a pediatric caseload in feeding disorder cases.
• Experience with patients 8 months and older is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric feeding and swallowing disorder experience.
• Experience working in children’s hospital settings.
• Familiarity with pediatric developmental occupational therapy.
