Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult populations in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care per hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including COVID, Monkey Pox, and other isolation precautions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records and update patient information consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nursing License (State of Georgia or applicable state).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Epic EMR system experience.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS).
- Ability to work nights and handle demanding patient care responsibilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients with infectious isolation precautions.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols related to COVID and other infectious diseases.
