Job Title

• Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist

• Albany, OR

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, and tissues to assist in disease diagnosis.
• Process samples for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients around the clock.
• Ensure all tests are completed accurately and in compliance with CLIA and CAP standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow laboratory safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support clinical decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as an ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Proven experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work nights and adapt to shift schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a hospital or hospital-affiliated laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
