Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel)

• Full-time, travel assignment, day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a busy surgical environment within the operating room.
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsies, and orthopedic/spine surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including on-call responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system.
• Support the surgical team with standard OR equipment and new technology implementations.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent hospital acute care experience in an OR setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing roles.
• Meditech EMR experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to operate standard OR equipment and systems such as Stryker video.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
