Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in a dynamic clinical setting.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement treatments independently while coordinating with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, medication management, and self-care strategies.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an oncology or related clinical setting.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing with a focus on oncology.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
