Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for surgical, neuro, orthopedic, and medical patients in a 34-bed unit.
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4-5 patients per RN, with flexibility up to 6 patients depending on unit needs.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including drug-free workplace and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or proof of application initiation.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on-site.
• Must provide last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off during application.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in medical-surgical, neuro, or orthopedic units.
• Prior experience with ventilators, Cpap, BiPap, or other respiratory therapy equipment (handled by Respiratory Therapy).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and adapting to shift rotations.
