Contract | Days | Tuesday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM with rotating weekend call (7:00 AM – 11:00 AM call only)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans with a primary focus on neuro and orthopedic imaging studies

• Operate a GE 1.5 Voyager MRI scanner within a single-scanner radiology department

• Conduct an average of 4–12 scans per day

• Start IVs and perform venipuncture as required for contrast administration

• Utilize PACS for image management and electronic medical record systems for patient documentation

• Participate in rotating weekend call coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (MRI)

• Active Illinois state license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

• Current BLS certification

• Demonstrated MRI experience, including neuro and orthopedic imaging

• Proficiency in venipuncture and IV placement

• Must be able to pass a drug screen; department operates as a drug-free campus

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with GE MRI equipment, specifically the 1.5T platform

• Experience working with PACS systems for image archiving and communication

• Ability to manage varying daily scan volumes efficiently in a fast-paced environment
