Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Oncology (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care independently, including routine and complex patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately in line with clinical standards.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, self-care, and symptom management.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately to ensure quality patient care while managing clinical contingencies.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities aligned with patient safety, care standards, and team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in oncology or similar clinical setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong understanding of oncology treatments, patient care protocols, and clinical procedures.
• Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in night shift hours and handle high-acuity cases.
