Travel Radiology Technologist – Days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures while supporting efficient patient flow and throughput.
• Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; serve as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel; participate in quality assurance activities.
• Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts and at multiple campuses as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and facility policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent.
• Radiography (R) certification by ARRT is required.
• Active New Mexico state licensure (RRT by MIRTP NMED) is required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced hospital radiology department.
• Familiarity with PACS image archiving systems and related troubleshooting procedures.
