Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory therapy care to patients in an acute care hospital setting

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions

• Administer respiratory treatments including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC

• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana

• Current BLS certification

• Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory therapy within an acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with mechanical ventilation management in a hospital setting

• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
